Website accessibility – ADA & WCAG

We audit your website, online store or app against WCAG and fix what's missing – so everyone can use it and you reduce legal risk.

Why act now

What we take care of

Accessibility audit

Testing per WCAG with automated tools and manual checks: keyboard, screen reader, contrast, forms, error messages.

Prioritized report

Clear and readable: which issues exist, how serious they are and how to fix them.

Remediation

We fix the issues directly in code and design – for good, not with an add-on overlay.

Accessibility statement

We write your accessibility statement, including the details required in the EU.

Apps

We also audit and improve iOS and Android apps for accessibility.

Training

Your team learns to publish new content accessibly, so it stays that way.

What's the risk of doing nothing?

In the US, accessibility claims often start with a demand letter or a lawsuit – settling and fixing under time pressure is far more expensive than fixing proactively. In the EU, violations of the European Accessibility Act can lead to fines and orders to change or withdraw an offering. And beyond the law: accessible sites are easier for everyone to use and better understood by search engines.

Frequently asked questions

Does the ADA apply to our website?

US courts regularly apply the ADA to websites and apps of businesses open to the public, especially online stores and booking sites. We're not lawyers, but in practice most businesses with consumer-facing sites should treat accessibility as required.

Which standard applies?

WCAG 2.1 or 2.2 Level AA is the standard most often referenced in the US. In the EU, the harmonized standard EN 301 549 builds on the same WCAG criteria.

Is an accessibility overlay enough?

Usually not. Overlay tools can't fix structural problems in the code, such as missing labels or unusable forms – and sites using them are still being sued. We fix the root causes.

How long does remediation take?

An audit usually takes a few days. Remediation depends on scope – for a typical website, often two to four weeks.

Does this apply to apps, too?

Yes. Apps that serve consumers should be accessible as well. We audit and improve iOS and Android apps.
